Participation and rights that transform communities
Handala promotes the human, social, and political rights of all people, with a particular focus on those living in marginal situations, through active participation in political decision-making processes and educational interventions.
PROJECTS
Our interventions focus on several areas: combating educational poverty with activities aimed at Children, boys e Families; female empowerment and the prevention of gender-based violence; Regeneration of urban spaces as places of socialisation and active citizenship.
We work online with schools, institutions, universities and other third-sector organisations, creating concrete responses to the needs of the area. Each project is born from listening to the community and develops through workshops, training, sport, art and cultural activities.
